# inkPreflight

> inkPreflight is a measurement-based preflight QA tool for tattoo artists. Upload a design and it measures minimum line width (mm), line spacing, black-fill density and merge risk at the real tattoo size, then flags lines that will blur, blow out or merge once healed. It also generates a 1:1 real-size stencil PDF.

## What it does
- Measures thinnest line width in millimetres at the target tattoo size
- Detects lines and gaps below safe tattoo thresholds (fine-line, lettering, blackwork)
- Produces merge-risk maps, width/density heatmaps and artist/client QA report PDFs
- Exports a 1:1 and mirrored real-size stencil PDF

## What it does not do
- It does not predict healing outcomes or replace artist judgement; it reports geometry only.
